An experimental deck of 30k flashcards for learning to recognize handwritten characters. Before you start studying this deck extensively, be sure to take the initial recognition test to get a baseline measurement of your reading ability.

Covers the most common 3000 characters. Images were randomly sampled from the CASIA database. Once you finish studying the first 10k cards (covering the 1000 most common characters) please get in touch. I think it would be very interesting to analyze which characters seem to give people the most trouble.
If you want to improve your handwriting, I’ve also created a deck for writing cursive characters.
